Free Fire India Championship 2021 Spring league stage qualified and invited teams announced

The Closed qualifiers of the Free Fire India Championship 2021 Spring Split has ended on 7 February. The league stage of the tournament, will be played on February 19, 5 pm.

The top 12 qualified teams from the stage will be joined by six invited teams for the league stage, which will start on 19 February and go on 7 March.

The Free Fire India Championship 2021 is the first major tournament of the year and boasts a huge prize pool of INR 75 lakh. The winner will be awarded Rs 35 lakh, while the first runner-up will get Rs 15 lakh.

Ayush of Team Old School was caught cheating by the anti-hack system and was later banned from all free fire tournaments until 7 February 2022. Team Old School was also disqualified from the Free Fire India Championship 2021.

The Old School actually gained a spot in the league stage of the FFIC 2021 Spring, but will now be replaced by the Stone Crusher.

The top six teams from Free Fire India Championship Fall 2020 have been directly invited to the league stage of the FFIC 2021 Spring.

All 18 teams will be divided into three groups of six teams, where they will compete in the best 6 matches. The league stages will be played every Friday, Saturday and Sunday and will run for nine days.

The top two in each group will proceed to the Grand Final while the remaining 12 teams proceed to the Grand Final play-in.

The FFIC 2021 will be broadcast on the Free Fire India Esports YouTube channel at 6:00 pm with multiple languages.
