PUBG Mobile: All you need to know about Runic Power Mode in 1.2 Update


Battle royale game, PUBG Mobile 1.2 update is now available on both Android and iOS devices, don't forget to install the new update.

In this update includes a lot of new, exclusive, and special features such as Runic Power Mode, New Famas Weapon etc. which have been added to PUBG Mobile. But many players do not understand the runic power mode and today in this article we will discuss the details of the Runic Power mode in PUBG Mobile.

Runic Power mode 


This match type is one of the key elements introduced in PUBG Mobile with the 1.2 update. It is available for a limited time, from January 12th to March 7th, on the Erangel map. This will provide users with a new battle royal experience. 

This game mode offers runes with 3 special energies, each of which provides unique powers that help to defeat enemy and get the chicken dinner easily.

When players initially begin their game, the rune energy option screen appears, and players can choose any of the three runes wind/flame/arctic in spawn island, depending on their playing style. Each rune grants him two skills, which are classified into Summon and Boost. 

Here are the types of rune energy in Runic Power mode: 

1.) WIND RUNE


Summon skill - Summons a semi-transparent shield of wind that reduces the damage of bullets fired from outside the shield.

Boost skill - Increases your movement and reloads speed. 

2.) FLAME RUNE 


Summon skill - Summons a wheel of flame that rolls forward slowly, dealing burn damage to enemy players it touches.

Boost skill - Adds a burning effect to your ammo for a short time.

3.) ARCTIC RUNE


Summon skill - Summons an ice wall. Each block of the ice wall can be destroyed separately. When a wall of snow appears, it will lift players or vehicles directly above them.

Boost Skill - Gives Ammo a cold effect for a short time. The effectiveness of therapy is reduced by cold.
