Chrono Vs Hayato: Which is a Better Character in Free Fire

Battle Royal is a Free Fire 10-minute survival shooter game that claims 500 million + downloads on the Google Play Store. The game offers its players a wide range of characters with unique abilities, thus providing an advantage on the battlefield. The game currently has 34 characters available, including Chrono and Hayato.

Each character has a special ability that makes them different and also beneficial for each player. Recently in collaboration with Cristiano Ronaldo Garena has introduced a new character named Chrono. However, Hayato has been added to the OB23 update in Free Fire.

Chrono and Hayato are two popular characters present in the Free Fire area, and In this post today, we'll take a look at who is the better character in the game.

Hayato or Chrono, who is a better character in Free Fire?

(Hayato)

Hayato, as his description states, is a legendary samurai and has a passive but impressive ability called 'Bushido'. After equipping the character, a player's armor penetration increases by 7.5%, decreasing the maximum HP by every 10%. Once at levels up to 6, armor penetration increases by 10%, with every 10% decrease in maximum HP.

Hayato also has an 'Awakened' and improved version of himself where he has an active ability called 'Art of Blades', which reduces frontal damage by 20% for 3 seconds, a 50 second CD. However, it has to be obtained, as it is not unlocked with Hayato's default character.

(Chrono)

Chrono will be available in the game from today, ie 19 December, and will be a complete monstrosity. His in-game narration states that Chrono is a bountiful hunter from another universe and has an active ability known as the Time Turner.

At its base level, the ability creates a force field that can prevent 600 damage from enemies. He can also shoot at opponents while remaining inside the force field. His speed also increases by 15%.

In addition, allies inside the force field achieve a 10% increase in speed, with the effect lasting up to four seconds. The ability has a cooldown of 50 seconds.

After taking Chrono to maximum level 6, his speed increases by 30%, while the ally's speed increases by 15%. All effects last for 15 seconds and have a cooldown of 40 seconds.

Chrono or Hayato : With whom to play?

Chrono and Hayato both have unique abilities, making them a fan-favorite. Both these characters can be leveled to maximize their potential on the field. As both of these characters are available in Free Fire and can be obtained individually, it is completely subjective for each player to equip any of these characters.

But, if we analyze both of these characters closely, Chrono offers superior abilities with two skills and versatile power. He can prevent enemy damage as well as attack them at the same time, while Hayato's ability is more inclined for a defensive and passive gameplay strategy.
